When a Unitarian comes along, with...

When a Unitarian comes along, with...

“JWs have a different Jesus, this is deception as it is based on the philosophy of men. They believe that Jesus is a spirit is ludicrous, he declared himself to be a man”

Such a Unitarian attitude ignores certain matters, here is how and why!

John 8:40
“As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.” NIV

In other such like situations Jesus speaks to others, as a man. What Unitarians seem to either ignore or are not aware of, is that, when Jesus, referring to himself uses the expression “a man” or “son of man”, he is at that time speaking as a man, who was born of woman, a true son of man born of woman, like others humans. Jesus is not referring to his previous existence (John 3:13; John 6:62; John 8:23; 17:5), Jesus saying of himself and to his opposers and others “a man”, he was a real flesh and blood human.

John 3:13

“No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven.” NLT
John 6:62
“Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?” ESV
When Jesus makes those statements above, he is speaking as a man, not some incarnation, as per Trinitarianism.
Before coming to earth, Jesus did not exist as “a man” or “son of man” and his use of those expressions, addressing his words to his opposers, is in the context of actually being “a man” at that time, whilst on earth and his opposers knew him as “a man”.
When Jesus returned to heaven, he was raised with a spirit body, God made his son “a life giving spirit”, Unitarians flatly deny this and then comes back with the usual specious explanations as to why that is not so, even though the text is simple and plain to understand and for all to see!
Also, what Unitarians ignore is the scriptural fact, that no fleshly (corporeal) elements, no remnants of “flesh and blood”, never mind “flesh and bone” cannot enter the spirit heavens, where God and the spirit angels are, and when Jesus appeared to his disciples in the form of a man, he had to appear in that form, as humans cannot see spirit beings, the appearance of Jesus as a man was necessary in order to convince his disciples he was actually alive and ate something (as angels had done in the past); Jesus was not now a true son of man any longer, not a human, as he once was, but a materialised spirit person, he was always the same person, before, during and after, only his form had changed!

So, when a Rogue* Unitarian like xxx comes back with:

“JWs have a different Jesus, this is deception as it is based on the philosophy of men. They believe that Jesus is a spirit is ludicrous, he declared himself to be a man”

* This particular Unitarian does not agree with other Unitarians on certain matters, hence the term "Rouge".

…the philosophy is all this particular Unitarian's as such a one admits that there is disagreement with with other Unitarians, who are, made up themselves of different fragmented groups; a Unitarian House divided!

Why Jesus could not have been raised with a body of flesh!
The Ransom?

In John 6:51 Jesus said:
"I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh." NET
"I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”
Luke 22:19
"Then he took a piece of bread, gave thanks to God, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in memory of me." GNT
Here, Jesus was to give up his flesh (body), his life was to be given as a Ransom, in exchange for the life of the world (mankind); if Jesus took his flesh back again, then the Ransom would be null and void!
So, how could Jesus be literally "flesh" or "flesh and blood" or "flesh and bone" at his resurrection, to take back even a single element or component of his earthly body and not all of it would have caused to Random to be invalidated and it must be remembered, that, like angels of the past, Jesus could easily materialise a body that to all intents and purposes, from the viewers perspective, looked real, a body of flesh!, that could, like the angels in ancient times, eat and drink.
